A 2015 trip to Grand Teton National Park sparked my passion for landscape photography. I have since dedicated much of my time to exploring and photographing the great outdoors. I love being out in remote areas, feeling vulnerable and embracing what is out of my control. It feels so freeing to stand atop the mountains and be surrounded by vast deserts; I feel alive.
The idea to run and fastpack long distance with my camera on my back provided me a new sense of purpose to my work. Trail running has become the vehicle allowing me to search for and discover new perspectives by providing me the opportunity to connect more deeply with the natural world around me. The emotions felt from those experiences influence my work, and I am on a constant journey to create images that evoke awe and inspire adventure.
